Interesting! Thanks for the additional information. I also found an October 27, 1946 newspaper mention of 2 cases of “book matches” unclaimed by the “Harbor Lights Cafe” to be auctioned off in Galveston by the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company - possibly the same place. Though a 1955 advertisement in the Galveston paper announced “Harbor Light Bar & Grill” on Butterowe Blvd. in Galveston as “Galveston’s Newest Nite Spot” - and another 1955 article mentions the “beer tavern Harbor Lights” on 61st Street. Could just be a popular name.
